Arise, go back to Father’s house
Read Luke 15:11-32. In this story, the younger son leaves father’s house and goes “into a far country”.

Out in the world

At first, life away from the father appears fulfilling. The world promises the temporary pleasures of sin. And they enslave those who run after them. But the pleasures wear off quickly. The result is that you lose your joy and peace. Then, you begin to hate life and hate yourself.
